Call me Clark, because tonight, I have made a brilliant discovery: Sushi.
It came in a (Owww! My every sinus cavity is enflamed. They didn't lie about this green stuff.) large platter with a few different kinds of what I'm calling rolls of stuff. Included were packets of ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi...a dangerous thick pea green paste of TNT. Maybe I'm overly sensitive to things with a kick, I don't know. It's my first time! Give me a break. I realize that I am late in this culinary game, but we all work at different paces; As for me, I was a little slow to indulge myself in the fine cuisine of raw fish.

I have been pacing my apartment all day. I take the beach towel out and then I put it back. I remind myself that I still have a week before my life is totally and completely care free (for 7 days). I am making lists in my head (SERIOUSLY! The TNT is killin me.) of groceries to buy once within smelling distance of the salty ocean. Shrimp! "How much would you like, ma'am?"
"How much do you have?" This is how the conversation in my head goes. Crab Claws! ("cocktail sauce? yes, that'd be great. thanks.") "Can someone please toss me that spf .375? awww-sum, you're fabulous." Oh my gosh...Jimmy Buffet just walked by...with his parrot. man, some folks never change, do they? I love it.

Can we please just cancel classes this week? Let's be honest...we all want the same thing, faculty and students-no obligations-a break-time to do everything but use our heads!
My heart leaps. (My mouth burns.)
