Art has become such an obvious form of worship to me lately. As I watch the lives of my friends (unbeknownst to them), I see the power of Jesus as it pours through their camera lenses, paint brushes, voices, written words, and in what's left between the lines. From Alabama to Asia, men and women I have come to respect are roaming new streets and meeting new faces, all the while, documenting their journey.

Technology shocks me...And the things you can do with it. I must be old fashion, stuck in a decade before my time, because I have no idea how to master the level of artistry that my counterparts produce. (If you have any tips, I am dying to know).

Inspiration is found in the lines and light of photography, structure and texture of buildings and interiors, and in the coloration and fragrances (or odors) of food. What is it that lacks design? Nothing, I tell you! I love how creation inspired this entire globe and the galaxies that surround it are. Not one cell lacks personality.

For the next six months, I will be developing a single piece of art and like these friends of mine, the personal and emotional and experiential parts of my life will be what makes the work special. More on that later...
